Which would you advocate the kindle or the nook?

Query by Ray of Sunshine :-): Which would you advise the kindle or the nook? I have been searching at the 3G Kindle but although studying some of the testimonials i see folks saying that they have problems with them freezing and have been by means of several kindles. My cousin has the nook and i like it but i also like the kindle? If anybody owns either or both i would really like to hear your opinions. Greatest reply:

Ya know, I consider this evaluation sums it up rather well....it all depends on your reading routines and require for aesthetics: http://www.digitaltrends.com/devices/kindle-vs-nook-an-e-reader-face-off/ Personally, it would be the Nook, hands down, if it had the screen size of the Kindle: three.five" is very small. This is what occurs in a country that only thinks about income, and not the consumer. You get devices that never include every little thing you want - you get a device that competes with other gadgets and splits the competition to only advantage the manufacturer. I go for products that let me to do as several factors as attainable. Consequently, I would obtain the Galaxy Tab - it may possibly not be explicitly an E-Reader, as are the Kindle and Nook (with their respective backers: Amazon and B&N) but I'd find a way to get the books and read them on it anyway -) Identical goes for the iPad. I can use it as an E-Reader, but it is just so darn Big, it does not fit in a pocket like the Kindle. I have 1, and it truly is just okay, significantly better for video games (nephews) and apps. Okay, so in this choice: I'd go for the Nook - unless there is a new (colour) Kindle on the way. It has color, external memory alternatives, much better battery lifestyle, free of charge book options that the Kindle doesn't, it really is pretty cheap (affordable) and....it has Color. 1 issue that will get me, is that the Nook states it uses E-ink...it doesn't. I wish it did, simply because E-ink, like in the Kindle, looks so real! But the NYTimes has an write-up that says a colour E-ink gadget is on the way...you might want to wait and see who (Amazon/Apple/B&N/Borders?) picks it up: http://www.nytimes.com/2010/11/08/engineering/08ink.html I'd buy that one particular :-)
