What does a new model Kindle do that a cheaper netbook or notebook total pc cant do?

Question by perryinjax: What does a new model Kindle do that a cheaper netbook or notebook total personal computer cant do? I have never employed an Amazon Kindle but seeking at their costs I see that they price as much as some Notebook computer systems and they are far more pricey than a great deal of netbooks. What does a Kindle do that a comparable price tag notebook personal computer does not do? It appears to me that a less costly netbook or notebook can do all that a KIndle would do but so considerably a lot more. Please advise if you have knowledge with a Kindle. Best solution:

The amazon Kindle is designed to study E books and that is all, whilst a netbook has an Operating Method put in eg Windows XP
