I wantto get some totally free books from the kindle store but there is no the place that hyperlinks my to the shop from the kindle aPp. So do I just use the safari aPp and get it there?

Yes, use Safari to get the guide from the Kindle keep and choose your iPod as the gadget you want it delivered to from the delivery choices on the web page. If you registered your iPod with your Amazon account it should be there, if not you will want to do this first
