How do I sync my kindle fire to my personal computer?

Query by Nicholas: How do I sync my kindle fire to my computer? I have windows vista. I have the sync setup open on my computer and pressed the sync button on my kindle but my laptop or computer is not choosing it up, and I will not even know if thats what you supposed to do. Thanks.
