How do I re-get a kindle book on my substitute kindle?

Question by Debra: How do I re-get a kindle book on my replacement kindle? I obtained a replacement Kindle and I'm trying to get my previously bought guide off of my "Kindle handle" area of my Amazon account on to my Mac. When I download the file and drag it to the Kindle icon it appears to function but when I try to open it in the Kindle it says that it is not licensed to me and to delete it. Have any suggestions? Also, how do I delete it from the Kindle? Very best answer:
