How can I study kindle books on my personal computer?

Question by ?paradox?: How can I read kindle books on my laptop or computer? I bought a kindle guide on amazon but I can't look to read it on my Mac, I will not want to purchase a kindle. You can get a kindle app for your Mac, which wont cost you a cent.
