Amazon Kindle: So what is the difference in between the 3G a single and the other 1?

Query by Callie: Amazon Kindle: So what is the difference between the 3G one and the other 1? I want to get one but I seen the 1 I'm planning on acquiring does not have 3G and the other one particular which is $ 50 higer does. What is the difference? Does the 1 without having not save the futherest location you read or some thing like that? I have Kindle on my Pc and it does that. If you have wifi in your property do you need to have the 3G 1? I am a bit puzzled by it. Finest response:

They the two save your place in the book. The wifi version requirements a wireless connection to operate. The 3G a single uses a wireless cellphone connection for information. >If you have wifi in your house do you need to have the 3G a single< No, but then if you are away from your house, you will have no connection unless you can find an open wireless network. The Kindle employs 1 of the connection varieties to get new articles or to synch your area in a guide. The lack of a connection however will not keep you from reading a guide you have presently down loaded.
